One of the new features in iOS 17 for iPhone is the way to personalize contacts with the “Contact Poster” option, which are edited images that act as digital business cards and can be shared as a way to send contact information.
This way, when someone calls the user’s number, instead of just their name appearing with a solid color background on the screen, an image with different fonts and spacing will appear.

In addition to this function, Apple launched another NameDrop call in which each user can share their personalized poster by simply bringing their device closer to another such as an Apple Watch and choosing which contact information (phone number, email, etc.) want to share.

– In the upper right part of the screen, users will have to press the “Edit” button and then touch the same button again, which will be located at the bottom of the contact photo.

– In this section, users will be able to personalize their poster with the use of a photograph or a memoji, in addition to presenting the name with different types of fonts. The camera will also be available to create your own image instantly.
For better image quality and more customization options, one of the recommendations that users should keep in mind is that using the camera’s portrait mode allows cell phones to correctly distinguish between people and the background of the photo. This is how it is possible to put the name of the contact behind his silhouette.

To navigate through different image filters that can be used to increase personalization, users can also swipe left or right on the screen. In the lower right part of the cell phone, a colored circle will be displayed with which you can choose the color tone that you want to apply to the image of the Contact Poster.
