In the province of Flevoland, a coalition agreement has been reached between the BBB, VVD, ChristenUnie, SGP and PVV. Nothing is yet known about the content of the agreement, entitled ‘Future for the new country: from, for and by Flevolanders’. The presentation is Friday in the provincial house.
Flevoland is the third province with a coalition agreement. Limburg and Gelderland preceded the province. The BBB won the elections in all three provinces.
Last week, formateur Van Maaren already announced at Omroep Flevoland that the five factions agreed on the main points. The coalition agreement will be discussed in the Provincial Council next Wednesday.
PVV and Christian Union
In the beginning of the formation there was a lot to do about the cooperation between the PVV and ChristenUnie. But according to the scouts in the province of Flevoland, it soon became apparent that there were no irreconcilable differences of opinion. However, considerable negotiations had to be done about the “complicated themes”, such as nitrogen, Lelystad Airport and the housing of asylum seekers and status holders, the regional broadcaster reports.
