Ukraine goes to the counteroffensive in Zaporizhia and Bakhmut

The Institute for War Studies (ISW), an American Think Tank, assures that the Ukrainian forces have carried out counteroffensive operations with different results in at least three sectors of the front.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky remains unclear on the movements of his forces, but admits they are attacking “in all directions.”

“To our soldiers, to all of you who are in especially tough battles these days, we see your heroism, and we are grateful to you for every minute of your life, a life that is truly the life of Ukraine“, explained Zelenski.

Vladimir Putin, for his part, explicitly said that the Ukrainian counteroffensive has begun, but above all he wanted to stress that all attempts made so far had “failed”.

The Russian Defense Ministry claimed to have repelled twelve Ukrainian attacks in these regions.
