Through her Twitter account, Alejandra Azcárate sent a message to the national government in which she offered to rent a room inside the basements of hell, since the consequences of the controversy could be forceful for President Petro and his government.

Although the businessman requested to declare himself a victim, the controversy reached Azcárate, which led her to disappear from social networks for several months, a silence that ended with the publication of a video in which she assured that she had gone through hell after the details of the scandal were made public.

“I think that we all go through very hard, difficult, adverse moments in life and I am no exception. I have come from going through the basements of hell for two months and I wish you with all my heart that you never, for whatever reason, have to travel through those spaces because there is not a single peaceful corner”.

Also, he reflected on how people’s lives can change in a minute, something that can happen for any reason, a truth that the national government is experiencing firsthand.

“It is incredible how life can change for human beings in a second, for a million reasons: a bankruptcy, something so everyday in these times. A dismissal in a company, a breakup, an abandonment, the discovery of an infidelity, the diagnosis of an illness, a death that is bread every day in the midst of this pandemic.

Although Laura Acuña confirmed that she does not have a close relationship with Alejandra Azcárate, she did assure that she had advised the comedian when the details about the seizure of her husband’s private plane became known. She thus made it known on her YouTube channel in one of the chapters of her interview program “La sala de Laura Acuña”, where the main guest was Alejandra Azcárate and in which they spoke sincerely.

“We are not friends, we are colleagues and I have known Alejandra for many years, I have never sat at her table, she has not gone to my house, we have not gone out to parties, we have seen each other at social events and wherever we have had to go and that’s it”.

But, Acuña acknowledged that no matter how many work colleagues they may be, the issue of the seized plane and the accusations against Alejandra and her family was an issue that touched her nerves, so she took the audacity to write to her personal telephone number to advise her.

“I wrote to you at that time on WhatsApp and told you: ‘Alejandra, keep quiet, if there is something that one has to refute, that is not the way, because people are going to be happy about what is happening to you, they are not give yourself that pleasure.’”

Regarding the advice received by Acuña, Alejandra assured that she remembered the words, but also explained the reasons that led her to go out to the media to respond to the accusations she was receiving.

“Do you know what happens? It is a situation where you have no way out in the media. In the others I had a way out, when I have made a mistake I have asked for forgiveness, I am a noble human being, I know how to recognize when I am wrong and I do not have the slightest difficulty kneeling down and asking for forgiveness, I know that”.
