This Saturday night it was decided who was the winner of Pasaplatos Famosos, the cooking contest with celebrities that defined the best Argentine television star when it came to cooking, who took the two tickets to Paris. The El Trece cycle had 16 participants throughout its broadcasts and finally there were four, divided into two teams: orange and green.

Upon entering the studio, Paula Chaves expressed: “I want to ask for a big round of applause for the 16 celebrities who were participating, today we will know who the big winner is. An atypical final, because today the competition is inter-team, the same participants from a team will compete among themselves to come out the winner”.

Within the green team were: Aníbal Pachano and Geraldine Neumann, and for the orange: Gladys La Bomba Tucumana and Sebastián Cobelli. “They are the four celebrities who have given everything to reach the final, a very tense climate is being experienced, with many emotions and many nerves,” said the host.

At night there were three guest chefs: Franco Malacisa, Leandro Bouzada and Patricia Ramos. “We need the feminine energy,” Paula said when she introduced the latter. “I like to see the presentation of the dish and then I go in search of the flavor”, explained the chef of one of the most renowned hotels in the city of Buenos Aires.

“On the counter they have the star ingredient of the preparation. At the count of three they will discover the bell that covers it and they will be able to see it”, warned Paula. Then, the stars found themselves with a duck breast, which they had to cook with a braised quince and tomato cous cous.

Both Geraldine and Pachano talked about the feelings they were experiencing while cooking their dishes. The choreographer thanked them for letting him participate in the program and commented on everything he had learned in these weeks. Meanwhile, Nicole Neumann’s sister was nervous and explained that she could not concentrate.

When the 4 participants finished their dishes, the chefs began to test and taste the preparations exhaustively in order to choose the winner of each team. The dish selected by the green team was that of Gladys la Bomba Tucumana and went to the final of Famous Pasaplatos. “The decision was very difficult, but what Gladys’s dish won for me were the quinces,” said the only chef on the program. Leandro admitted: “I fell in love with the quince, and the cooking point of the duck won.” As for Franco: “The spices took the lead and also the quince”.

Thus, things, Sebastián Cobelli was left out of the contest in the last stage. Then, between Gegé Neumann and Aníbal Pachano, the chefs selected Geraldine’s dish. So, with loud applause, they said goodbye to Aníbal, who thanked them for being able to participate in the contest. “For me it is an absolute emotion, this is a game and it is really good to learn, well now I have to cook”, he opened up.

“We have a women’s final,” announced the host, with the presence of Bomba Tucumana and Gegé. “They have some golden boxes on their counters to find out what they will have to cook in this final. Let’s all discover the star ingredient together.” Among the smoke they found a large wagyu steak, a kind of meat that is left to marinate for days and requires very elaborate preparation.

The finalists had the chance to choose two teammates from their teams to help them. Gegé chose Carna and Ximena Capristo. When it was Gladys’ turn, she summoned Yanina Screpante and Cobelli.

Once the time was up and with their dishes prepared, each one presented their recipe for evaluation by the invited chefs. They analyzed each dish and reached an agreement: “Because of a very subtle difference, one is better than the other.”

Each one had to mention which was the winning dish. Leandro chose Gegé Neumann’s, Franco, Gladys’s. So the one he defined was Patricia: “The one who established himself as the big winner of this broadcast is Gegé Neumann.” Through tears, the model hugged all her former classmates, while she expressed her happiness for this achievement.
