In a video posted on his Instagram account, the Colombian-Argentine actor who has lived in Miami, United States for almost two decades, showed how he is working on his appearance. In the post, Varoni wrote:

“The transformation of one of the most iconic characters on Latin American television begins”

In the video, the transformation of the actor and producer is evident, since they shaved his beard and applied a black dye to his hair to play a character with less gray hair.

To live up to expectations, Varoni was placed under the orders of stylist Johan Benlolo and Enrique Guzmán, who have worked in the past with his wife, Catherine Siachoque, as well as with other Latin American figures such as Shannon De Lima or Gaby Espino. .

It should be remembered that in recent days, Varoni told his social networks that he had the advice of Gustavo Pineda, medical director of the Colombian Football Federation and, incidentally, the personal doctor of both him and Siachoque. The actor explained that at the time he helped him with an injury he suffered and since then they have been inseparable.

Although at the moment there is no official confirmation that a third part of the telenovela will be recorded, there are rumors that production is already in its early stages. Hence, several media outlets spoke that Varoni had already left his position as an executive at Telemundo to become fully involved in the casting and production of it, and the demands of him to join the project were made known.

According to what was reported in Lo Sé Todo, Varoni demanded that he choose who would play his son, Pedrito Coral, a role that Carlos Kajú played at the time. The reason that the actor would have given is that he needs to have a good connection between the two so that the interpretation is the best. The program also ventured to mention one of the candidates: Emilio Pernía, son of actor Gregorio Pernía.

Another of Varoni’s demands to agree to join the project is that he will come to Colombia exclusively to train the actors who are interested in appearing for the casting. The reason, apparently, is that those who are finally elected must take part in an intensive workshop, given by Varoni himself, who already has extensive experience in these processes as he has been the Creative Director of Telemundo since 2006.

On the other hand, it has been reported from the main cast that Alina Lozano, who played Doña Nidia in her day, would not be part of this third season because she did not reach an economic agreement with the producers. Her place, according to journalist Carlos Ochoa, could be taken by Luly Bossa. He also mentioned that Sandra Reyes, Juancho Arango, Álvaro Bayona, Javier Gómez and Marcela Mar are most likely to be part of the cast playing their respective characters.
