Alexa Hoffman’s defense would have presented incomplete and contextless videos against Héctor Parra, according to his lawyer
More than a week after Héctor Parra’s sentence was read after being found guilty of corruption of minors, his lawyer assured that the victim’s defense, Alexa Hoffman, tried to present incomplete and out-of-context videos as evidence.

After the hearing on June 1 to appeal the sentence, lawyer Samara Ávila, who is leading Parra’s defense, revealed that one of the videos that was presented as evidence in the case was completely taken out of context.
Despite the fact that the images lasted around 10 minutes, the lawyer Rubio would have presented only clippings of seconds to accuse Héctor of sexual abuse and corruption of minors.
The mentioned videos will be in the documentary “Alexa’s 2 trials”, where she recounted her case (Instagram/@ginnyhoffman_)
Since it was compelling evidence, she and her team managed to get the judge to see the entire video, which would have shown that it was a common family reunion.
“Of the videos that they are using as evidence, they wanted the judge to see only certain seconds and for certain seconds to be valued, the Prosecutor’s Office at least. As a defense, the lawyer who accompanied me to those hearings managed to get the judge to see the entire 10-minute video.”
Samara Ávila, therefore, asked the production of the documentary Alexa’s 2 trials not to cut the videos in the same way and present them in full.

“Hopefully they will have the possibility to see those complete videos. One of them lasts approximately 10 minutes, another five minutes more or less, I hope they have the opportunity to see them in full, that the seconds that they wanted to show here in court don’t just pass, “sentenced the lawyer.

On the other hand, when questioned about the accusations made by Ginny Hoffman during her most recent statements about the case, where she mentioned that this case was about pedophilia, Ávila denied that Héctor Parra is considered a pedophile.
The representative mentioned that, if the actor were a pedophile, he would have been accused of pedophilia because that figure exists in the penal code, but his client was not accused of such a crime, but of not allowing his daughter’s free psychosexual development.

“The federal criminal code contemplates this figure and that is not why Mr. Héctor Parra is being sentenced, the crime of corruption of minors is very different,” the lawyer began.
“Pedophile abuse is as if they had performed various sexual acts against a person under 18 years of age, and for which Mr. Hector is being sentenced in this first instance is for having been contrary to his freedom and his healthy psychosexual development”
In an interview for the Feminist Analysis program, Ginny Hoffman recalled when her daughter told her about the abuse she suffered at the hands of Héctor Parra. One of the words Alexa used to tell her about what she experienced was “pedophile”, something that alerted her to it.

“She was already 16 years old and that’s where she says very little to me, but when she says the word pedophile to me, at 16 you know what that is, and I did say to her: ‘What are you talking about?’ She used the word pedophile, ”recalled the actress.

That was the moment when Alexa asked him if that’s why his father could go.
to jail, which caused Ginny to start worrying about Alexa’s attitude towards Hector.
