The National Human Rights Commission (CNDH) issued a recommendation to the municipal presidency of Cuautitlán Izcalli, the municipality in the State of Mexico where Octavio Ocaña, the actor from Neighbors, died.

Specifically, the CNDH determined in its June 1 statement that there were violations of human rights to legality, legal security, and personal integrity due to the excessive use of force.
According to the agency, the persecution began because the policemen were trying to stop Ocaña’s truck for an alleged administrative offense against the municipal side, but one of the policemen transgressed the principle of absolute necessity when he fired twice. against the plaintiff’s vehicle without aggressive or aggravated resistance on the part of the companions.
