A video surveillance camera captured the moment in which a subject caught the attention of the white and black cat, to which he waved with his hands, while he opened the door of his vehicle, also white, with unidentified license plates.
The kitten looked at him curiously and approached confidently, as if he were waiting to receive food.

After a few seconds, the perpetrator got into the car and took out an object, with which he pointed it at the animal’s head and proceeded to end its life. After the crime, he boarded the car again and escaped from the scene.
According to the first reports, the act of extreme cruelty would have occurred in the streets of the Miraflores subdivision.

As expected, the video lasting only 01:53 minutes caused anger on social networks and the demand for justice by the Mexican authorities.
For its part, the Attorney General of the State of Mexico (FGJEM) reported that it is already investigating the case, and recalled that whoever causes death, using any means that prolongs the agony of an animal that is not a pest, is considered animal abuse, typified in the state Penal Code.
Likewise, he urged citizens to report these types of cases at 800 7028 770, through the FGJ Edomex mobile application or on the agency’s official website.
