The Belgian economy grew by 0.5 percent in the first three months of the year compared to the previous months. This is evident from figures released by the National Bank on Thursday.
Value added in manufacturing fell by 0.6 percent, while activity in services increased by 0.8 percent. In the construction industry, value added growth slowed to 0.3 percent.
