The Russian government denounces that a man has been injured in a bombardment in Belgorod, a Russian city that shares a border with Ukraine.
State television broadcast images of damaged buildings and evacuated civilians after the alleged attack by Ukrainian forces. An evacuee from the area told how her experience was.
“From three in the morning until seven we couldn’t go out. We couldn’t raise our heads [por los bombardeos]. It was scary,” the woman told Russian national media cameras.
The Russian Defense Ministry spokesman blamed a Ukrainian armored fighting unit, saying it had been repelled.
