Don’t Look Up actress Jennifer Lawrence stars in the new comedy No Hard Feelings (2023). After we were introduced to her chaotic character Maddie in the first trailer, the brand new trailer shows her doing her best to wind 19-year-old Percy around her finger.
Remarkable vacancy
Maddie’s life is a huge mess: her ex Gary makes her life difficult, she has no money, no car and her job is also falling into the water. On the verge of losing her childhood home, Maddie sees a remarkable job opportunity: Wealthy parents are looking for someone to form a relationship with their introverted 19-year-old son Percy in exchange for a car. Maddie decides to go for it but soon finds out that the tough Percy doesn’t just let herself be taken in.
With Oscar-winning actress
The sharp comedy is being directed by Good Boys director Gene Stupnitsky, who also co-wrote the screenplay Bad Teacher (2011). The cast includes Oscar-winning actress Jennifer Lawrence, Andrew Feldman, Laura Benanti, Natalie Morales and Matthew Broderick. Lawrence also worked on the project as a producer.
On the verge of losing her childhood home, Maddie sees a remarkable job opportunity: Wealthy helicopter parents are looking for someone to “date” their introverted 19-year-old son, Percy, before he heads off to college.
No Hard Feelings runs from June 22 in the cinema.
