Fans of Scandinavian films and romance have another new title on Netflix: A Beautiful Life (2023). The poignant film about a fisherman who becomes famous with his voice can be seen on the streaming service from today.
Breakthrough
Elliott, a young fisherman with an extraordinary voice, gets the opportunity of a lifetime when he is discovered by successful high-profile music manager Suzanne. Suzanne soon sets Elliott up with her estranged daughter and music producer Lilly. On his way to stardom, past struggles threaten not only his big break, but also the budding love with Lilly.
Danish singer
The new Danish film is directed by Mehdi Avaz, who previously played the romantic Tuscany (2022) made for Netflix. The lead roles are for singer Christopher, Inga Ibsdotter Lilleaas and Christine Albeck Børge.
