Ten other people were injured
At least three people died in kyiv (the capital of Ukraine), including two children, after a new Russian bombardment during the early hours of Thursday that also left about ten injured.
According to the city’s Military Administration, the attack was carried out with “operational tactical ground missile systems”, and not with combat planes or drones as has been the case in recent weeks.
Despite the fact that the enemy missiles were destroyed by the Ukrainian defense systems, as the Army assured, the debris fell on a medical care center and a multi-storey residential building, where the victims were located in the Desna district, on the outskirts of Kiev.
Several buildings in the Dnipro neighborhood were also affected, where the debris damaged another residential building and several vehicles that were parked nearby, which caught fire.
According to the mayor of kyiv, Vitali Klitschko, there are at least 14 injured, nine of them hospitalized and five who received medical help at the scene of the incident. He also assured that the emergency services successfully extinguished the fire caused by falling debris on several vehicles.
