Good morning! Defense is getting a special anti-drone unit. And today is Alpe d’HuZes, the annual event on the French Alpe d’Huez in which money is raised for cancer research in a sporting way.
First the weather: during the morning hours there is a lot of cloud cover. During the day the sun breaks through more and more often in the center and south, only in the north the clouds remain stubborn. It will be 14 to 16 degrees in the north and 17 to 21 degrees elsewhere.
Are you going on the road? Here you will find an overview of the activities. And view the rail timetable here.
What can you expect today?

It is the start of a series of changes to strengthen Dutch air defenses. A new edition of the Flora Batava, the reference work of plants in the Netherlands, is being published. The book is a reissue of the 28-part book series that appeared between 1800 and 1934. The presentation of the Flora Batava is at 3.30 pm in the Koninklijke Bibliotheek The Hague. And it is getting busy with Dutch people on the Alpe d’Huez.
