Through social networks, the candidate for the Labor Party (PT), Ricardo Mejía Berdeja, announced that he will support the candidate elected during the 2024 presidential elections, but that for the moment he will seek to rescue the state of Coahuila from ” politicians and criminals.

The candidate for governor of Coahuila this Saturday who “dead first” rather than decline his right to participate in the elections that will take place next Sunday, June 4. The foregoing after the announcement of the alliance between the Green Ecologist Party of Mexico (PVEM) and Morena in said entity.

Through a public act in the municipality of Escobedo, he declared the following:

“I am the candidate of women and men who are hungry and thirsty for justice in Coahuila (…) that is why our fight goes beyond any negotiation. That is why today I tell you, first dead than declining to the legitimate aspiration of the people of Coahuila “.

The alliance to which he responded was the one that occurred between the Morenista Armando Guadiana and the Green Party, a little more than a week after the elections for the governorship of said entity were held.

Through a press conference led by Mario Delgado, national leader of Morena, the news was discovered that El Verde joined the Guadiana project with which they intend to continue making history.

The candidate of the Alianza Rescatemos Coahuila, of the UDC and of the PVEM, Lenin Pérez Rivera, moments later discarded the announcement in which it was reported that he would decline for Guadiana.

Through a message broadcast on social networks, the PVEM candidate assured that the decision announced during the early hours of the day by the Verde y Morena proceedings originated from ignorance of the current situation facing Coahuila.

During the morning of this Saturday, from the Saltillo region, Mario Delgado and Karen Castrejón announced that both the National Regeneration Movement and PVEM would seek a winning coalition led by Armando Guadiana.

It is worth mentioning that in previous days President Andrés Manuel López Obrador (AMLO) distanced himself from Ricardo Mejía, as he mentioned that he had mentioned him during his electoral campaign, as well as in the Fourth Transformation, describing it as an act of dishonesty for having used his name for an electoral campaign, despite not having any relationship.

In such a way that Mejía’s candidacy meant the rupture between parties that in recent years were allies in most electoral processes, referring to PT and Morena.
