Horacio Rodriguez Larreta traveled to Mendoza and posed with Alfredo Cornejo and Rodolfo Suarez
Horacio Rodríguez Larreta began to intensify his electoral assembly in the interior of the country, especially in those key provinces to win the internal one with Patricia Bullrich. The visit that had the most political relevance was the one he made to Mendoza, where he added a photo with Alfredo Cornejo, a faithful ally of the former Minister of Security. He did the same in Córdoba with Luis Juez and Rodrigo de Loredo, where -recently- a group of radicals close to the Evolution referent announced an alliance with the hard wing of the PRO at the national level. In parallel, the Buenos Aires head of government is betting his chips on the figures of Rogelio Frigerio in Entre Ríos and Maximiliano Pullaro in Santa Fe, although he does not lose sight of Carolina Losada’s candidacy.
“The central axis of the country”, as his team describes the strategic territories, includes the provinces of Córdoba, Mendoza, Santa Fe and Entre Ríos. As reported to Infobae, the Buenos Aires mayor’s agenda is intended for the Buenos Aires suburbs on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and inland on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. “Horacio respects the local armed forces a lot and does not meddle,” they say in his surroundings in reference to the strategy of support and alliances within Together for Change. To his tours we must also add the political definitions that he began to express about his possible government.
Before arriving in Córdoba, Rodríguez Larreta sent a message to the countryside, mentioning measures that he could implement if he became president. In this sense, he ratified that this sector “must be given clear rules” to be able to double agri-food exports in six years, such as removing the exchange rate that is currently in force, eliminating withholdings and export duties to regional economies. “Agriculture should be a Ministry because it is the sector that represents 70% of Argentina’s exports. I am passionate about production and development, this is going to be a priority for the next president of the Nation, which is going to be me, ”he added during a radio interview.
Horacio Rodríguez Larreta with Luis Juez and Rodrigo de Loredo, the candidates of Together for Change in Córdoba
In the afternoon, the pre-candidate for president toured the Calamuchita department together with Judge and De Loredo. His visit coincided with the recent agreement that Bullrich made with a group of co-religionists close to the candidate for mayor of Evolución, including his father-in-law Oscar Aguad, Luis Picat and Soledad Carrizo.

De Loredo is one of the co-religionists allied to the president on leave of the PRO, in fact, he is one of those who were mentioned to be her running mate. Although he avoided staying out of what was the event at the Hotel Panorama – where his allies expressed their support for Bullrich – the head of the Evolución block in the Chamber of Deputies is a man close to the hard wing of the yellow party, especially from Mauricio Macri.
The same does not happen with Judge. As Infobae was able to reconstruct, Bullrich maintains a distant but cordial relationship with the leader of the Civic Front. She feels that she was not fully rewarded in the shows of support that she made towards her provincial candidacy, especially at a time when various leaders of Together for Change met with Juan Schiaretti. In addition, she was the one who proposed to resolve the internship with De Loredo with a survey.
Judge tries to balance the confrontation between Bullrich and Rodríguez Larreta and that is why he avoids expressing support for only one presidential candidate. In his speech, he insists on the need to maintain unity to defeat local Peronism. On this path, he reaped thorns and roses, such as the photo of the kiss of the PRO competitors in his launch for governor.
The kiss of Horacio Rodríguez Larreta to Patricia Bullrich at the launch of Luis Juez as a candidate for governor of Córdoba
The photo of Rodríguez Larreta in Córdoba is added to the one he had with Cornejo in Mendoza. Last Friday he appeared with Governor Rodolfo Suárez and the radical candidate to replace him. His visit was also a sign to his opponent.
At first, Cornejo was the name sung to integrate the mixed formula with Bullrich. However, when deciding on the provincial fight, Suárez went on to head the list of radicals to accompany the president on leave of the PRO. Despite this information, Rodríguez Larreta was asked about the possibility that “Rody” would go as his vice president and replied: “The conversation and the decision should be with radicalism. I am convinced that mixed formulas and diversity help”.
By integrating an alliance with Gerardo Morales and Martín Lousteau, in Santa Fe he leans towards the candidacy of Pullaro, a local benchmark for Evolución. In fact, Rodríguez Larreta was the promoter of Gisela Scaglia as a running mate. For his part, Losada tries to copy the position of Luis Juez in Córdoba and not publicly lean towards either of the two wings of the PRO at the national level, although in the gestures and signs his alignment with Bullrich and the UCR Malbec Group is visible. In any case, from Larretism they clarify that they maintain a fluid dialogue with the radical senator. They say the same about Rogelio Frigerio in Entre Ríos, his bet for the next election.
