Club Guadalajara put tickets on sale for the second leg of the Clausura 2023 final, which will be held at their stadium against the Tigres. The excitement at the possibility of a new championship for the Guadalajara team has caused tickets to sell out quickly, leaving many fans unable to attend.
Something that has caused resellers to appear, trying to take advantage of the situation and offering in a greater quantity at the prices established by the directive. Although this is an illegal practice, users on social networks published several screenshots in which former player Jorge “Chaton” Enríquez can be seen, allegedly reselling tickets for Chivas vs. Tigres.

“Lower side 25,000, I have 4 in the premier 25,000, 3 VIPs in 30,000,” was Enríquez’s response to a fan who asked him about the tickets. Something that caused outrage among the rojiblancos fans, who questioned that he had tickets and was reselling them, when some were not even enough.

Even Chivas asked his followers through networks not to buy through resale, since it could lend itself to scams, by acquiring counterfeit tickets or duplicate impressions, which would represent a loss of income. In addition, they requested that, in case of not having a ticket, not try to buy it in the vicinity of the Akron stadium, but rather watch it at home or on the different giant screens that will be installed in various parts of the city.
In this regard, the Olympic medalist in London 2012 defended himself arguing that it was all a joke he made after being previously accused of a similar situation. He even joked about the screenshots that were shared, raising the prices that he had already disclosed.
“Good morning. It will be full, there I leave the weepers who continue to demonstrate asking me for tickets, I still have them but they already cost 45,000”, shared the former player in a tweet in which he added a screenshot of information that Chivas released about the ticketing exhausted.
