Los Felinos and Chivas did not get hurt in the final match of the Mexico – Liga MX – Clausura 2023 tournament.
The tie came after a match in which Tigres was far superior in terms of shots, leaving a statistic of 7 balls that ended up in the goal and 8 that ended up wide.
The figure of the match was Diego Reyes. The Tigres defender was important for taking 2 balls out of the danger area.
Alexis Vega was another of the outstanding players. The Chivas striker showed his best level, shooting twice at the opposite goal.
A high foul rate constantly slowed down play on the court. There were a large number of cautions: Antonio Briseño, Javier Aquino, Fernando Rubén González, Fernando Gorriarán, Sebastián Córdova, Jesús Orozco and Manuel Mayorga.

For their part, those chosen by Veljko Paunovic took to the field of play with a 4-4-2 scheme with Miguel Jiménez under the three sticks; Alan Mozo, Gilberto Sepúlveda, Antonio Briseño and Jesús Orozco in defense; Isaac Brizuela, Fernando Beltrán, Fernando Rubén González and Víctor Guzmán in midfield; and Roberto Alvarado and Alexis Vega up front.
Fernando Guerrero Ramírez was appointed as the main referee of the match at the Volcán.
With the first match tied in the first final of Mexico – Liga MX – Clausura 2023, the tournament champion is defined in the rematch. The second leg will be played next Sunday, May 28.
