Jealousy drives sisters apart in new Swedish Netflix drama

Netflix will soon release a brand new title from Sweden: A part of you (2024), or A Part of You in English. The streaming service today announced the Swedish film and also announced the cast. None other than singer Zara Larsson plays the leading role.

Netflix describes the new drama as “a story of life and death that captures the experience of being 17 years old and feeling like your heart is about to burst from your chest.” And del av Dig revolves around Agnes (Felicia Maxime) and her older sister Julia (Zara Larsson), who has everything Agnes dreams of: she’s the coolest person in school, the center of every party, and she’s dating Noel ( Edvin Ryding).

If only Agnes could be more like her. When the worst happens, Agnes’ world is turned upside down and she has to reinvent herself. Suddenly she’s about to get everything she’s ever wanted, but at what cost?

Zara Larsson

The lead roles are played by Felicia Maxime, Edvin Ryding and Zara Larsson. Maxime and Ryding were previously seen together in Young Royals (2021– ) and Larsson are known as Swedish singer from, for example, the song “Lush Life”. The Swedish film is directed by Sigge Eklund.
