It is worth remembering that Jorge Valdecantos, director of the medical center where the soccer player was hospitalized, explained at the time that Rodríguez suffered “fractures in both maxillary sinuses, which would be the cheekbones.” He also delved into whether he would be able to quickly return to activity: “I think so, he will be able to play. He’s going to have to rest for a while, rest for the operation on his face, he probably won’t be able to hit himself for a while until he’s recovered. In ability he is not going to lose anything, he is in great physical condition ”.

Taking into account the professional’s statements, it would not be a surprise to see Luis wearing a mask in the first training sessions or matches of the Ferroviario. In the last match of Central Córdoba at the Alfredo Terrera stadium against Sarmiento de Junín, the entire squad displayed a banner with the legend “Fuerza Pulga” to support the difficult moment that their teammate is going through.
