Elections Turkey
Tomorrow Turkey will go to the polls and it will be all or nothing for President Erdogan. After the major earthquake in February, which killed at least 50,000 people, there was a lot of criticism of Erdogan. Construction instructions had not been complied with and aid was slow to get started. Will Erdogan be punished for that by the voters tomorrow? Nienke van Heukelingen, Turkey expert from the Clingendael Institute has just returned from Turkey and is joining us.
D66 congress
D66 is not in favor of abolishing the Dutch monarchy. This became apparent today at the Spring Congress in the RAI in Amsterdam. In addition to the monarchy, the D66 members spoke out for closer cooperation with GroenLinks, PvdA and Volt. Political reporter Nynke de Zoeten was present at the conference and is joining the studio.
