No matter how much the president says he doesn’t like it, the term appears 23 times in the text of the National Development Plan that was approved by the Congress of the Republic on May 5
President Gustavo Petro, in the meeting he held with admirals and generals of the Armed Forces, said that the term “total peace” was a name that the press gave to his government’s peace policy. He also said that he does not like that term, but that “it is already the name he came up with.” The president made this comment when he was exposing his security policy to the military high command.
“That what we want does not cause confusion, but in the middle of the bubbles of the media and the reality that is being built is not that we have it clear in our heads, a perspective of peace, the press called it total peace, to me the name I like it, but that is already the name with which it remained ”.
As much as the president says that he does not like the term “total peace,” it appears 23 times in the text of the National Development Plan that was approved by the Congress of the Republic on May 5.
