More than 150 people, including several children, were unknowingly filmed in a public toilet on a cruise ship by a voyeur who was arrested by the FBI last week.
The events allegedly occurred between April 30 and May 1 aboard a cruise ship “Harmony of the Seas”, while it was in international waters.
According to information from the FBI, Jeremy Froias would have taken advantage of the first days of the cruise to install a hidden camera in the public toilets located at the rear of the upper deck between a surf simulator and a bar.
The latter would have filmed himself when installing the camera, thus facilitating the work of security agents to find him, reported the American media CBS News. The latter would then have confronted him until he admitted the facts.
He now faces charges of video voyeurism and attempted possession of child exploitation material, the FBI said in a statement in which its potential victims are invited to fill out a form.
