With more than ten weeks to go until the release of Oppenheimer (2023) has just finally revealed its first full trailer. The new thriller from Inception and Interstellar director Christopher Nolan is one of this year’s most anticipated films.

How can someone with a bizarre idea convince others of what this can entail? Peaky Blinders star Cillian Murphy plays American scientist J. Robert Oppenheimer. He was a physicist and was also called ‘the father of the atomic bomb’, because he developed the bomb during World War II. “Will anyone ever tell the truth about what’s happening here?”
Mega budget for Christopher Nolan’s longest film ever
In addition to Murphy and Kenneth Branagh, other big names are also present in the film with a budget of 100 million dollars; that partly went to creating an atomic blast without CGI. Emily Blunt plays biologist Katherine “Kitty” Oppenheimer, Matt Damon is Gen. Leslie Groves Jr., director of the Manhattan Project, and Robert Downey Jr. has been cast as Lewis Strauss, one of the founders of the US Atomic Energy Commission. In addition, Florence Pugh, Benny Safdie, Michael Angarano, Rami Malek, Josh Hartnett and Dane DeHaan also pass by. At 3 hours, this will be director Nolan’s longest film to date.
