Henry Cavill will once again work with Guy Ritchie on a new film project, the official title of which has not been revealed. Jake Gyllenhaal and Mexican actress Eiza Gonzalez will also participate in the recently announced film. The next feature film is expected to start filming this summer in various locations in Spain.

According to Deadline sources, the film will star Cavill, Gyllenhaal and González. The project seems to have the traditional humor that distinguishes Ritchie that will follow what happens with two rescue specialists who have to plan an escape route for a highly experienced negotiator committed to a high-level mission.

Gyllenhaal recently collaborated with the filmmaker on The Covenant, while Cavill and Gonzalez became engaged to the director on the set of The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare. Guy Ritchie wrote the script and will co-produce the anticipated project with his partner Ivan Atkinson, and Black Bear International’s John Friedberg, who has also produced the British director’s last two films.

Guy recently stated that: “There is something special that happens when you regularly collaborate with the same partners: you build a knowledge and trust that allows everyone to do their best. Jake, Henry, and Eiza are incredibly talented, committed, and engaging actors. It will be an intellectually stimulating and physically spectacular action-packed film.”

This year The Witcher and Man Of Steel star Cavill will launch Matthew Vaughn’s Argylle project for the Apple TV+ platform and will also premiere Chad Stahelski’s Highlander for Lionsgate. The actor will also star in and produce the Warhammer franchise for Prime Video.

Up next, Gyllenhaal stars in Apple TV+’s Presumed Innocent from David E. Kelley and JJ Abrams, as well as the Amazon Studios-created reimagining of the 1989 hit Road House, directed by Doug Liman. For her part, the Baby Driver and Ambulance actress González will be seen in the Benioff and Weiss series Three Body Problem for Netflix and The Ministry Of Ungentlemanly Warfare directed by Ritchie and Jerry Bruckheimer.
