The successful director Alexis Michalik (Le Porteur d’histoires, Edmond, etc.), awarded multiple times by the Molières over the last decade, is the master of ceremonies of the 34th edition of the night of Molières.
He is also responsible for the staging of this evening, with the wish, he confides, to “make people want to go to the theatre”.
The first Molières ceremony took place on May 23, 1987, broadcast at the time on Antenne 2 and presented by Michel Drucker.
The bronze statuette awarded to the winners is inspired by the marble bust representing Molière, sculpted by Jean-Antoine Houdon in 1773.
