Kabul, 17 Apr. The Taliban government ordered the temporary suspension of all educational activities in two provinces in southern Afghanistan, extending education restrictions to young people and children as well, a year and a half after the veto that limited girls’ education.
In a letter issued to the southern provinces of Kandahar and Helmand, the Afghan Ministry of Education instructed “to suspend all educational activities until the projects and activities of educational institutions are reviewed, and controversial issues are resolved at the national level” starting Monday. .
