After the historian Enrique Krauze published an article in The Washington Post about the risks that López Obrador’s constant attacks from the National Palace imply for the physical integrity of journalists and critics, the man from Tabasco defended his right of reply by arguing that he is the president most wronged in over a century.
“They do not like me to tell them, because it is true, that since the time of Francisco I. Madero, a president had never been so attacked and they still dare to say that this is an authoritarian government,” the Tabasco man reproached this April 13 .

From the National Palace, the Chief Executive detailed a list of “eminences” careful, according to him, in insulting his person and moved by his disagreement with AMLO’s Fourth Transformation (4T).
Journalists Denise Dresser and Aguilar Camín, investigator Guillermo Sheridan, as well as former electoral advisers Lorenzo Córdova and Ciro Murayama were the targets this morning and López Obrador urged them to “calm down” after calling them “confused and obfuscated.”
“We speak of pure eminence that insults me. They are confused. Hopefully and they will calm down and light up that these are other times ”.

In recent weeks, the Chief Executive has intensified his criticism of fellow columnist Denise Dresser Guerra after she suggested ending the morning press conferences.
“Conservatives are intolerant. They just want to talk, they don’t want us all to talk. But hey, they will not be able to, ”López Obrador replied in that sense and with an ironic tone through a video on his Twitter account.
