Why did Julián Figueroa have a heart attack when he was so young?

In a dialogue with Telemundo, cardiologist Gilberto Concepción assured that a myocardial infarction, like the one that ended the life of Julián Figueroa, is “extremely rare” in young adults.

However, he explained that there are circumstances that could favor the occurrence of these interruptions in the blood supply to the heart.

“There are several causes that are more frequent in this group [de edad]. The conditions can be congenital or acquired”, indicated the specialist in Cardiology.

In this sense, he explained that a viral infection could be one of the main reasons that would lead a young adult to suffer a heart attack. Another of the scenarios raised by the cardiologist was that when someone abuses “certain medicines” that can be cardiotoxic, this can “weaken the heart and make it susceptible to sudden death due to malignant ventricular arrhythmias.”

Julián’s last message on social networks

One day before suffering the heart attack that took his life, Julián shared a publication alluding to his father, Joan Sebastian, and how difficult it had been to cope with his absence for almost eight years. However, the description of the photograph in which he appears as a baby with “El Rey del Jaripeo” was not the last text that he shared on his networks.

In a commentary to the same photo, the 27-year-old singer said he was proud of his father’s career, but acknowledged that there are times when the emotional turmoil runs so deep that it’s hard to keep up appearances.

“Sometimes you have to stop pretending that everyone is hunky-dory and recognize when we feel devastated by the death of someone we love, not to stay in sadness forever, but to accept the pain and get out of it,” he wrote in what would have been his last text.

On April 3, just six days before the death of Julián Figueroa, the Costa Rican actress shared what would be her last photos on social networks accompanied by the son she had with Joan Sebastian.

Minutes before midnight, it was reported that Father José de Jesús Aguilar arrived at the actress’s residence to officiate a private mass in honor of Julián Figueroa.

Upon his arrival, the priest commented to the media on his perception of the young singer when he collaborated with him in the artistic world.

“I had to act with him in the last novel he did with Nicandro Díaz. So I remember him as a happy young man, a composer and above all with a lot of faith, ”he mentioned before entering the home.
