Another more recent crime occurred on Wednesday. The Venezuelan citizen José Alberto Jirón Holder, who was working as a windshield wiper, murdered Gian Marco Caro Núñez, a taxi driver who was traveling with his wife at the intersection of Abancay and Grau avenues, also in downtown Lima, because he allegedly refused to give him 50 cents to clean the car.
The victim stopped at the red traffic light at noon last Wednesday and was approached by the foreigner who was going to clean the car’s windows. Despite the fact that the driver refused, the subject insisted, which ended in an argument.
Despite the fact that everything seemed to have calmed down for a few seconds, the murderer returned with scissors to embed the taxi driver in the chest, at heart level.
Caro Núñez was taken in his vehicle to the Grau Emergency Hospital, but died due to the seriousness of his injuries.
The witnesses commented that, after committing the crime, the Venezuelan left the scene with complete peace of mind. The murder was registered by the cameras of the Municipality of Lima. Shortly after, he was captured by the PNP.
