The 28-year-old gunman who killed six people, including three children, at the Covenant School in Nashville acted “totally alone” and prepared his attack “over a period of several months”, according to a new police report.

The Nashville Metropolitan Police also indicates that Audrey Hale would have documented in writing her preparation for the killing.
Despite the analysis of these documents by the police and the FBI, “the motive for Hale’s actions could not be established and remains under investigation,” the report said.
“Hale is known to have studied the actions of other mass killers,” it adds.
The report also indicates that on March 27, the shooter used 152 bullets in his attack.
The two police officers who killed the assailant used four bullets each.
The police are continuing their investigation, and ensure that the members of their teams who were involved in this event obtain the necessary psychological follow-up on a daily basis.
