Netflix has announced some of the cast for the film adaptation of Elin Hildebrand’s novel, The Perfect Couple. The series of the same name will have six episodes starring Nicole Kidman, Liev Schreiber and Dakota Fanning, among others. Production starts next week.
A corpse on the beach
Amelia Sacks, played by Eve Hewson, is about to get married. Her future mother-in-law, the famous novelist Greer Garrison who will be played by Kidman, has pulled out all the stops to make it a spectacle. However, things go drastically wrong when a body is found on the beach nearby. It turns out to be an outright disaster in which the guests all seem to be suspects in the investigation.

Schreiber will star as the groom’s father, Billy Howle as the groom, Fanning as the sister-in-law and Meghann Fahy as the bride’s best friend. Production on the series begins next week. Jenna Lamia serves as both executive producer and production lead. She is known for, among other things Awkward. (2011–2016) in Good Girls (2018–2021).
It is not yet known when The Perfect Couple will be shown on Netflix.
