After his brief stint at Getafe FC in the Spanish LaLiga, where he also suffered a serious injury and few minutes, Macías returned to Chivas in January 2022 with a USD1.7 million-a-year contract, according to the Futbol Total portal.
This means that when he is able to return to the field, the club from Guadalajara will have invested USD 3.4 million for a soccer player who spent most of his time in rehabilitation.
In other news, beyond the fact that the Serbian technical director, Veljko Paunovic, has expressed support for Miguel Wacho Jiménez, Guadalajara is already looking for a goalkeeper for the Apertura 2023, because he is aware that he needs a more reliable one to truly aspire to the championship of League. And the name that pleases him is the jewel of Santos Laguna, Carlos Acevedo.

In fact, the Chivas board has already contacted those from Torreón to find out the contractual situation of their player, because they want to have him for the next tournament.
Local media even affirm that the rojiblancos would be willing to offer up to three players, as long as they have Carlitos in their ranks, in addition to giving Santos Laguna extra money. However, the Grupo Orlegi club would not be interested in any exchange, but would ask any interested party for its goalkeeper for at least USD 9 million, since he has a contract until June 30, 2027.
