Quiet victory for Guatemala 4-0 against French Guiana

This Monday, Guatemala thrashed Guayana F. at home 4-0 as part of date 6 of CONCACAF Group D – League of Nations 2022-23. Rubio Mendez (14′ 2T), Marlon Sequén (30′ 2T), Nicolás Samayoa (34′ 2T) and Jorge Aparicio (47′ 2T) were the authors of the overwhelming victory of the local team.

A shot by Nicolás Samayoa ended up on the post 30 minutes into the first half and Guatemala lost their chance to take the lead.

Nicolás Samayoa had a great performance. The Guatemala defender was important by scoring 1 goal and stealing 2 balls.

Oscar Santis also had a good performance. The Guatemala midfielder made 20 correct passes and was encouraged to kick 8 times.

The game was fought, but there were more offenses than the creation of fair play. There were several cautioned: Yohan Marmot, César Archila, Stryker Youssou, Nicolás Samayoa and Joel Sarrucco.

Marco Ortiz Nava was the referee chosen for the match at the Doroteo Guamuch Flores stadium.
