He did not rule out unfolding the Buenos Aires elections.
Rodríguez Larreta came out to speak after Mauricio Macri communicated his decision not to compete in the next elections. In any case, he maintained that “the decision to compete did not depend on whether Macri, Carrió or whoever was playing.” “I think I am prepared and proud of the work we have been doing in the City, I do not pay too much attention to what candidates there may be,” added the candidate for the Presidency.

This Monday, in statements to Radio Mitre, Mauricio Macri gave his thumbs up to the candidacy of the radical Martín Lousteau -he said that he does not see him as head of government- and focused on the fact that the yellow party should not give up its electoral stronghold: ” The PRO has set a course of modernity and quality in management that the captain has to continue setting and I think we have someone very prepared”, he pointed out in reference to his cousin. “He has a unique experience that I didn’t have. I started and I had to pay a floor fee that Jorge is not going to pay because he was already mayor. He has a very valuable experience”. He is going to play it, he also realizes it ”.

However, he supported his applicants: “Fernán Quirós is a luxury as Minister of Health, and Soledad Acuña defended open schools (during the pandemic).” There is also “Jorge who was mayor of Vicente López and there are radical candidates like Lousteau,” included the head of government in the dispute over his successor in the Federal Capital.
“We have time to define,” he continued and did not rule out unfolding the elections in the City as a way to solve the internship of Together for Change: “It is an alternative.” “The date (of the election) does not change much, I feel that people value the work we have been doing and will vote to continue working in the same line,” defined the presidential candidate.
