The highly anticipated Marvel series Secret Invasion (2023) finally has a release date on Disney+. The promising crossover series featuring Samuel L. Jackson, Emilia Clarke and Olivia Colman, among others, will premiere next summer.
Fury & Talos
Samuel L. Jackson returns as Avengers founder Nick Fury, along with Ben Mendelsohn as Talos the Skrull. Fury and Talos met in Captain Marvel (2019) and must keep a conspiracy of shapeshifting aliens out of human society. While not much else is known about the story, it is very likely that it takes place after the post-credits scene of Spider-Man: Far From Home (2019), in which Nick Fury vacations in space while Talos poses as him on Earth.

Familiar & new faces
In addition to Fury and Talos, Don Cheadle is also back as War Machine. Disney + previously announced that Secret Invasion will serve as the lead-up to a film that focuses on his character, Armor Wars. The cast of Secret Invasion is joined by familiar faces such as Cobie Smulders and Martin Freeman, as well as new names such as Emilia Clarke, Kingsley Ben-Adir, Carmen Ejogo, Christopher McDonald and Olivia Colman.
Secret Invasion is on 21st of June watch on Disney+.
