Prime Minister Rutte and Deputy Prime Ministers Kaag, Schouten and Hoekstra discuss the results of the elections for the Provincial Council. Those were won by the BBB, while the coalition parties lost. The dissatisfaction of the voters and how to respond to this are central to the consultations. In France, there are again demonstrations against the increase in the retirement age. Last Thursday, protests got out of hand; roads were blocked, rubbish was set on fire and people clashed with the police. Conspiracy theorist Micha Kat is on trial in The Hague. He is also suspected of sedition. According to the Public Prosecution Service, he has called for violence against the municipality of Bodegraven-Reeuwijk, RIVM director Jaap van Dissel and the AD.

A foundation that is submitting claims for damages is taking the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport and 34 other authorities to court. The foundation is claiming compensation for victims in connection with a data breach at the GGD during the corona pandemic.
