USA | A score of deaths by tornado in Mississippi and Alabama

AAt least 23 people died in a first count early this Saturday after a powerful tornado ripped through rural areas of Mississippi and Alabama.

The center of the destruction appeared to be less than 100 kilometers away from the town of Rolling Fork, population less than 2,500, in Sharkey County.

The tornado swept northeast at 70 mph, toward the state of Alabama without weakening until early Saturday morning.
