At the premiere of Owen Wilson’s latest comedy Paint (2023), he looked ahead to the new season of Loki (2021– ) and expressed his enthusiasm for new cast member Everything Everywhere All at Once star Ke Huy Quan. Fans of the show can get ready for Loki’s return, as according to Wilson, Season 2 is in sight!

The second season of Loki promises to be incredibly wild now that the Kangs have been released, Wilson reveals. Regarding the release, the actor also released something:
I think it will be out at the end of summer or in September.

New cast members
The first season of Loki debuted in June 2021, meaning the second season will most likely release just over two years after the first. Loki takes place after the events in Avengers: Endgame (2019).
In addition to Quan, Rafael Casal and Kate Dickie will also be added to the cast of the second season. What roles they will play is still unknown. Wilson is particularly enthusiastic about the brand new Oscar winner Quan:
It is so exciting. Every time I saw him win something, he gave another tearjerker of a speech, so moving (…) I think the audience will love his character.
