The fifth season of You (2018– ) will also be the final season. While we recently shared some clear hints that Joe Goldberg’s story isn’t over yet, the streaming service has now confirmed that there will be one more season to satisfactorily round out the New Yorker’s whimsical adventures.

Ever since our friends (…) shared with us Caroline Kepnes’ amazing book, we’ve always thought of You as a five-season journey. We look forward (…) to bringing Joe Goldberg home

Penn Badgley recently said that Berlanti entrusted him with the probable end of the series years ago. The protagonist probably also knew for a while that it would stay with five seasons.
