Marcelo D’Alessandro and Gabriela Cerruti attacked each other on social networks after the resignation of the Buenos Aires official
Wednesday’s day brought confirmation of the resignation of Marcelo D’Alessandro as Buenos Aires Security Minister (he was on leave), and that he will be replaced by the former Vice Minister of National Security, Eugenio Burzaco. The resignation of the now former official occurs within the framework of the open case after the leak of alleged chats that he exchanged with judges, with a collaborator of the Supreme Court and businessmen.
D’Alessandro used his social networks to communicate his decision and also to publicize the reasons for it. “I informed the Head of Government of my decision to step aside to become a plaintiff in the case that is investigating the illegal intelligence operation against me,” wrote the former Buenos Aires minister.

In his thread of tweets, one in particular sparked a strong virtual confrontation with the presidential spokesperson, Gabriela Cerruti. “Regarding the hack, we already have those responsible. Now we are going to find the one who devised it, financed it and ordered it. Each and every one of them is going to have to give explanations before the Justice”, was the last message that D’Alessandro wrote on the subject.
In less than two hours, Cerruti’s reaction arrived, citing that last comment from the former Buenos Aires minister. “Regarding the hack, we hope to find out what happened to the bags with dollars that the company in charge of the cranes in the City of Buenos Aires was sending him so that Horacio Rodríguez Larreta would allow him to continue with his business,” he wrote.
Gabriela Cerruti reacted to Marcelo D’Alessandro’s tweets announcing his resignation
The counterattack of the former official of the City of Buenos Aires was not long in coming, and the temperature rose at the crossing, stating: “In her usual and comic misinformation, the spokesperson for 100 percent inflation has not yet learned that the Justice determined that the chats were invented from the headquarters of the Cabinet of La Rosada.
Not satisfied with that, D’Alessandro went for more: “He talks about bags with dollars and I suppose he refers to those of José López, the secretary of Public Works of his current vice president, convicted of corruption. Because they are jets”.

“They are jets and immoral, confessed, who ask for probations for the clandestine parties they held in Olivos while threatening people on television. Criminals ”, he defended himself. And he concluded: “They boast of the illegal intelligence operations that they themselves carry out to kill the Court, because otherwise they should talk about poverty, insecurity and what they really are: the worst government in history.”
The now former Buenos Aires Minister of Security did not let Cerruti’s accusations go by and answered him
Marcelo D’Alessandro’s last tweet, in response to Gabriela Cerruti’s accusation, was recorded at 10:19 last night. Although several hours have passed, the presidential spokeswoman decided to answer him again this morning, with no intention of lowering the temperature of the virtual confrontation.
“No. Justice determined that they used a key, which may have been stolen, from JG, but they intervened from El Dorado. From the same landscape as Mauricio Macri’s listening to his family and friends. Oh, and what happened to the bags with dollars for the tow truck business?” the official wrote.
The National Government spokesperson continued with the discussion this Thursday
The last sentence of that post closes with a question mark, so we will have to wait to find out if Marcelo D’Alessandro will respond to the spokesperson for the National Government, or decide to end the roundtrip tweeter.
