Former US President Donald Trump has asked to be handcuffed for his appearance in court if he is formally accused of having bought the silence of the pornographic actress with whom he allegedly had sex.

At least that’s what several sources close to the former president have claimed, according to the British media “The Guardian”.
According to them, the 76-year-old man said that if he had to go to the authorities to have his fingerprints and photo taken, he would take the opportunity to put on a “show”.
Handcuffed behind his back, he would like to strut “martyrically” in front of the cameras, to project defiance at what he perceives to be an unfair pursuit to stifle his 2024 presidential campaign, the sources continued.
For its part, the legal team of Trump would have opposed this idea, preferring to go to the court without making waves or scheduling a remote appearance, to prevent him from going in person to the scene.
If the former president has always denied the sexual relationship with the pornographic actress Stormy Daniels, he could be charged with a misdemeanor of false accounting statements for having concealed the payment intended to buy his silence.
These charges could escalate and become criminal if prosecutors believe the offense was intended to cover up a violation of campaign finance rules.
