Aleppo airport in northern Syria was hit early Wednesday by an Israeli strike that caused material damage for the second time since the beginning of the month, the Syrian Ministry of Security said. Defense.

The first findings “revealed material damage within the airport enclosure,” Souleiman Khalil told AFP, who did not specify whether it had been decommissioned.
“Israeli planes targeted the interior of Aleppo international airport and an arms depot belonging to Iranian militias near the airport, completely destroying it,” said the Syrian Observatory of human rights (OSDH).
