Água Santa reached the final on penalties

Água Santa advanced to the Brazilian Final – Paulista Championship 2023 by defeating RB Bragantino 4-2 on penalties. For Holy Water Luan Dias, Cristiano, Reginaldo and Júnior Todinho scored while Bruno Mezenga misplaced his execution. Bruno Praxedes and Thiago Borbas converted for RB Bragantino and Juninho Capixaba and Sorriso missed.

Lucas Tocantins was the figure of the match. The striker from Água Santa scored 1 goal and finished off the opposite goal on 2 occasions.

Cleiton was also important. RB Bragantino’s goalkeeper was fundamental for stopping 5 shots.

The process of the match was very close and intense, with more nerves than play. There were a large number of cautions: Igor Henrique, Matheus Fernandes, Thiaguinho, Lucas Cunha, Patrick Brey, Artur and Bruno Praxedes.
