Juan José Campanella spoke about the intern of Together for Change
Facing the presidential elections, the film director Juan José Campanella gave his opinion on the current political situation, spoke about the inmate within the PRO and sent advice to former president Mauricio Macri. “If I were his friend, I would recommend that he not run for office,” he said.
The renowned filmmaker refused to mention a candidate as his “favorite”, since he assured that “this is not the time.” However, he did analyze the current political scene and highlighted the “sensible” position of the former president.
As the elections approach, the tensions within the PRO are becoming more noticeable between Patricia Bullrich and Horacio Rodríguez Larreta. In the same way, Mauricio Macri has not yet publicly ruled out his participation in the elections, so the expectation is growing about what his definition could become.
When asked about the possibility of the former president running in the next elections, Campanella assured: “If I were a friend, I am not a friend of Mauricio, but if I were, I would recommend him not.” And he explained that he considers that “it is the only time in history that a president who lost the election retires on his shoulders” and claimed: “Many of us like to listen to him and we are aware of what he says.”

In dialogue with LN+ Campanella, he maintained that Macri “has a daughter who is about to enter adolescence, we know what the policy is with respect to families.” Even so, she remarked that “a lot of people from space are waiting for him and would vote for him, I think the internship is over if he enters.”
Until now, Macri has been closer to María Eugenia Vidal, but congratulated the PRO leaders on their candidacies
“I know the inmates, I know what the inmates are in the United States. We don’t have gym. What I would be interested in knowing is that the two PRO candidates (Bullrich and Horacio Rodríguez Larreta) say and clarify that they are all going to work for whoever wins. The fight sometimes reaches a limit of tripping ”, analyzed the film director.
When asked who his favorite candidate is, Campanella was blunt in considering that “this is not the time” and slipped the virtues of two pre-candidates. “I wish we could have a system that had both of them, it is very clear what the strengths of each one are. Horacio Rodríguez Larreta’s management is to do things, and Patricia Bullrich’s strength is her commitment”.
In this sense, he remarked that Bullrich “as Minister of Security has had a lot of effect. It is in them that they have something of the other, we will see how the internal one develops and it will depend on each Argentine ”. Added to this, he highlighted Rodríguez Larreta and “her management capacity and her works and that she is the right person, and that all of Patricia’s person tells us that she is the right person to destroy all the bad things that must be destroyed.”
Juan José Campanella spoke about the intern of Together for Change
Regarding the differences within Together for Change, Campanella extended the same request that he made to the PRO leaders to the radical leaders, days after the president of the Radical Civic Union (UCR), Gerardo Morales, launched his candidacy Presidential at Luna Park.
However, he also considered that “society lacks the gymnastics of witnessing an internal one.” In this regard, he proposed: “In Argentina, we should teach democracy and how institutions and logic work from first grade, which can be very interesting for children.” “Because the mixture of ignorance of the institutions and ignorance of logic wreak havoc on the opinion of the Argentine Republic,” he explained.
After his analysis of the political situation of the opposition, Campanella expressed that “it is very possible” that the political space wins and emphasized that, in order to govern, “there must be patience from society so as not to return to that famous double standard with the one that judges a government that is not Peronist”.
