On the night of this March 17, they reported that the young woman who allegedly hit Norma Lizbeth Ramos, the 14-year-old student who died of head trauma, would be held with her mother at the border with the United States (USA).

Presumably both are awaiting the actions of the Attorney General of the State of Mexico (FGJEM), which is about to execute an arrest warrant, according to information shared by the journalist Ciro Gómez Leyva.
In a video circulating on social networks, you can see that the teenager who was in a fight with Norma Lizbeth hit her multiple times on the head before the eyes of her classmates who did nothing but laugh. The event occurred on February 21 near the secondary school where both studied, located in Teotihuacán, State of Mexico (Edomex).

Norma’s family assured that the teenager had been the victim of bullying by the classmate with whom she fought and by other students, for which she even stated that she no longer wanted to go to school.

In addition, her sister, Alma Delia, indicated that she had contact with the mother of the aggressor after her death. He mentioned that he spoke to her on the phone once, after which he lost contact with her.
The woman said that the call occurred shortly after her sister died and that she sent a message to the attacker.

“I dialed her, I told her that her daughter should be proud because she ended my sister’s life and the lady was shocked, she didn’t say anything to me, all I did was hang up on her, until now I don’t know anything about the lady,” recounted for Telediario.

Alma also shared how the last moments of the minor’s life were, who exposed feeling bad. She explained that moments before Norma passed away, she mentioned that she felt that she was about to faint.
The woman reassured the 14-year-old teenager by telling her that nothing would happen; however, seconds later she closed her eyes and vanished. At first she thought it was a faint, but she soon found out that she had passed away.

After Norma’s death, which occurred on March 13, her relatives organized a mobilization in Teotihuacán. Days later they walked the streets, blocked access to the archaeological zone and finally demonstrated in front of the secondary school where she studied.
After the demonstration, it emerged that the director of the institution was dismissed by agreement between the parents and the school authorities. This is because the school authorities were allegedly alerted about the bullying of which Norma was a victim.
In fact, the minor’s relatives revealed that she accepted the challenge of fighting with her attacker as a desperate measure with which she tried to stop the attacks against her.
On the other hand, this Friday, March 17, the Ministry of Public Education (SEP) issued a statement in which it regretted the death of Norma Lizbeth and spoke out against bullying.

“We deeply regret the sensitive death of a student from the 518 Annex to the Normal High School in Teotihuacán, State of Mexico and we express our solidarity with her parents, family, friends and colleagues.”
“This agency reiterates that the school cannot be indifferent or tolerant in the face of harassment or bullying: it rejects violence and underlines the importance of strengthening the values and integration of families,” he concluded.
So far, the FGJEM has not issued a position on the case. The legal situation of the alleged person involved has not been confirmed.
