Jhon Paul Revilla and the PFA commission that captured him
A commission from the Superintendency of Dangerous Drugs of the Federal Police captured this Thursday morning in the Peruvian city of Carabayllo -located 35 kilometers from Lima- Jhon Paul Revilla Estrada, alias “El Burro”, one of the main drug traffickers in la Villa 11-1-14, nephew and lieutenant of “Marcos” Estrada, top boss of Bajo Flores who was deported last year after being sentenced to 24 years in prison.
The PFA commission, deployed in Peru since last March 6 under the orders of PROCUNAR, Judge Ariel Lijo and federal prosecutor Eduardo Taiano, worked in collaboration with the Anti-drug Directorate of the Peruvian Police. Just like “Marcos”, Revilla Estrada had already been deported twice from Argentina, in 2017 and 2021. However, it is believed that he returned to the country to strengthen his uncle’s rule in a violent change of era in the power of the Villa that ended with several homicides and a division of the domain with figures like “Dumbo” Martínez Maylli, who was also arrested in Peru last year after spending almost a year and a half on the run. Revilla Estrada had been sentenced to 6 years in prison for drug trafficking, for which he was returned to his country of origin under the alienation law in 2017, before serving half of his sentence, but later managed to re-enter Argentina clandestine
An Interpol red alert weighed on his head since February 1, 2021, accused of the crime of drug trafficking in the form of trade aggravated by the intervention of three or more people in an organized way to commit it and co-author of the crime of collection of firearms, their parts and ammunition. For this qualification, “El Burro” could receive 15 years in prison.
With the fall of Revilla Estrada, there remains one last player from Bajo Flores to fall: Fernando, alias “Piti”, brother of “Marcos”, a historic member of the organization’s leadership, who continues to be a fugitive to this day.
Revilla Estrada had a red Interpol circular on his head since 2021
