With the arrival of spring comes the time of the declaration of income every year. Bercy announced on Tuesday March 14 the dates that will punctuate the 2023 campaign.
► April 6, start of sending paper forms

All taxpayers, except those who cannot physically do so, must declare their income online. The service for carrying out this operation will open this year on April 13 on the impot.gouv.fr site.
► May 22, end of the deadline for paper declarations
Taxpayers who continue to use the paper form, due to a lack of Internet access or computer skills, must have returned the completed and signed document before May 22 at 11:59 p.m., the “postmark being taken as proof”. , says the tax authorities.
► May 25, June 1 and 8: deadlines
As every year, to avoid a congestion of the servers by taxpayers who tend to connect at the last moment, several deadlines have been set. These vary according to the department of residence. Residents of departments numbered 01 to 19, from Ain to Corrèze, must have validated their declaration online before May 25, 11:59 p.m.
Taxpayers from departments 20 (Corsica) to 54 (Meurthe-et-Moselle) must have completed their declaration no later than June 1. The deadline runs until June 8 for residents of departments with a number greater than 55 (Meuse) as well as for overseas residents.
