It would be Tom Cruise’s most bizarre stunt yet: the just-unveiled poster of Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One (2023) already gives a foretaste. The new adventure about Ethan Hunt promises to be great again.
‘Dangerous stunt ever’
The poster shows the moment after Ethan Hunt drives a motorcycle off a cliff to make a so-called base jump. “This is by far the most dangerous thing we’ve ever attempted,” Cruise said in a behind-the-scenes video capturing the stunt.

Plot secret for a while
Despite the fact that a first trailer has already been released, little is still known about the plot. Christopher McQuarrie returns as director and Rebecca Ferguson returns as Isla Faust, Simon Pegg as Benji Dunn and Ving Rhames as Luther Stickell. New faces to the action franchise include Pom Klementieff, Hayley Atwell, Shea Whigham, Indira Varma and Cary Elwes.
Part 1 of new adventure
It was already known that there would also be an eighth film. This is logically titled Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part Two.
